The KVP thread protector line-up features an ID bore that helps protect your barrels crown. The crown is often forgotten when looking at other thread protectors on the market. KVP also integrated wrench flats for easy installation and removal. Black Nitride QPQ finish was chosen to ensure excellent wear properties and so the finish would match high quality barrels utilizing the same finishing treatment.
